The office coordinates scientific and research cooperation carried out by faculties, scientific councils of disciplines and organizational units under agreements concluded with foreign entities, as well as institutions supporting the international mobility of researchers. It supports the activities of scientists applying for international scholarships, both in terms of information (providing employees and doctoral students of the University with information on the possibilities of international academic exchange, in particular supporting their scientific development) and in activities aimed at acquiring foreign partners for the implementation of joint scientific and research projects.
Additionally, the office initiates activities related to increasing the recognition of scientists of the Opole University of Technology in the international arena. It also deals with the administrative support of matters related to the arrival of foreign researchers at the University in order to carry out tasks related to conducting scientific activities. The core of the Office’s activities is the broadly understood scientific internationalization of the Opole University of Technology.
